Who I Am

Greetings

Originally from New Zealand but lived for six years in Zambia when I was young, which has given me a great appreciation of and interest in animals. I am dyslexic so I can have some very funny interactions with my spelling and sometimes there is an influence in my design because of that. Started designing and doing art during my study at high school because I liked reading comics when I was younger, which encouraged me to draw things. I enjoyed it that, and I have just kept going. And I am still loving it. Drawing creatures and making worlds is a passion of my. Having mixed-media approach is my preferred style using digital and handmade work to achieve a unique design aesthetic. But being boxed into one things can be boring so I am very flexible in my approach. Telling stories and showing ‘through the work’ is another one of my focuses, as well as being legible. My skill set also includes experience in using Blender 3d software and 2D animations.
